Our New Location – Oyster Bay, New York

December 15, 2017, we closed the doors on the family business (Philip Haas Sons Florist) where I started my wedding and event design company, Chic a floral boutique.ย  It was bitter sweet to say the least.ย  Our family business has been in operation since 1882 (135 years) in the same town, College Point.ย  It was time for my father to retire and start his new journey.

With this closing, it was time for me to look for a new location.ย  Months and months prior to the close my husband and Iย  searched and searched but we couldn’t find something that felt right or felt like home.ย  I decided to move the business into my home studio and it was the perfect move.ย ย The office is finally coming together and the studio is a work in progress.ย  It’s hard to organize 2000 square feet into less than 400 square feet.ย  Our new cooler is in the process of getting the floor painted, why you ask, because that too needs to look pretty, right?ย  Once it’s complete we will update you with that fun stuff.

My new journey is filled with so many emotions but most of all I am so happy and thankful.ย  Tell us what you would love to see in our new office?
