I am the owner and lead designer at Chic a floral boutique. I was born right down the road from one of my family’s shops and am currently the fifth generation.
My love for flowers began at only 5 years old where you could find me selling corsages during football games at Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, I began working full time at the family business.
As my passion grew for the industry, I wanted to learn anything and everything wedding and floral related so I enrolled in advanced floral design classes and attended any event I could get to. These classes and events gave me a fresh and unique perspective on floral composition allowing me to further develop the style and grace I bring to my work. I pride myself on providing quality flowers that are artistically designed to express your personality.
I strongly believe that in order to succeed you must continue to educate yourself and keep current with the latest trends and floral fashions.
In February 2015 I was one of 45 designers that volunteered at the Philadelphia Flower Show for Schaffer Designs interpretation of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas where it won gold. In March 2016, I was back working with Schaffer Designs at the Philly Flower Show interpreting Ansel Adams photos of the National Parks.
When I’m not designing flowers, you can find me crafting, learning new things or enjoying the great outdoors.
